This place is a treasure! I met my friend here on a Thursday night at 7pm for dinner. We were promptly seated and greeted by our server. All the staff were wearing masks and the restaurant is very spacious and spaced out. The space is well maintained, clean and very festive. I think their chips really stood out. They are slightly thicker than what you get in other restaurants which gave them a nice bite. And they came out warm! For my entree I ordered a salad with steak and it was absolutely delicious. The portion size is huge, which did not deter me from wolfing it down. It also was only $10.25 which is a really good price. The salad had grilled carrots, zucchini and mushrooms on top of shredded lettuce and diced tomatoes. The veggies were really well seasoned, salty and modestly spicy, and retained good texture. The steak was slightly overcooked and bland but still acceptable. I really appreciated the service. We got our meals 10 minutes after we ordered. Our server came by immediately after and asked how the food is. Our drinks were refilled regularly. In all, I had a great time here and will definitely come back!

Ugh. Besides them having large dining area to accommodate large group, this place is just getting more and more expensive with crappier food. Still charges small things such as sour cream. Come on!!! That said, I now found a New Mexican near by so I'll be taking my business there instead of here.

This used to be our favorite Mexican place. We even came on occasion after we moved across town but tonight will be the last. After opening the menu to see the sticker shock of the doubled prices, we started in on the chips and salsa while we waited several minutes for our drinks to arrive. The chips were ok when warm, but after a couple of minutes you can tell they are quite stale. They have also gone to thinning out their cheese dip along with the price hikes. Tonight we say 'adios' to our long time friend. I understand that times change and the economic situation is though with inflation out of control and gas over $4, but there are just too many negatives here to make the trip worth it. Even if we were close like before our dollars would go a LOT further at other local Mexican places.

We used to love Trojas and eat there every week. We even supported them during the pandemic they'd survive! The food is good standard Tex Mex with great salsa, big portions, and festive decor. The service was always spotty but we let it go because that wasn't why we were there. Suddenly the food became inconsistent. Sometimes it was good and sometimes it was totally unseasoned. The prices skyrocketed, and that's when we called it quits. I understand price increases, but chicken fajitas went to $25 overnight. Not acceptable!

The food was good and the drinks were acceptable. Nothing really to write home about on either account. This place is close to my apartment and we wanted to try somewhere new. There were lots of big flat screen tvs playing sports and news. Bathrooms and booths were clean.
